  • Create a regulation station

  • And so much more…

Session 04

Self-Regulation & Coping Strategies

Your child will learn about what it means to be regulation - and that it’s not always staying calm! We’ll look at drainers and rechargers and some positive coping strategies.

This session your child will create a mental health first aid kit while also learning how to support friends who are struggling with their mental health.

Session 06

Self-care Strategies

Your child will learn about self-care strategies and come up with their own self-care plan. We will also discuss how to identify when you need some self-care time and what that looks like for them.

Examples of activities

  • After purchasing the curriculum, you will be invited to create a free account to access our online community. Inside there, you will be given access to the Still & Strong curriculum.

  • This program is designed for you to do WITH your child. Still & Strong is focused on attachment, connection and trauma-focused mental health resources. You have the power to lead your child and you are the best person for the job!

  • I have yet to have a child who hasn’t enjoyed doing the activities - however some children may defend against learning about emotions or their body. If this is your child, take this slow and don’t put pressure on your child to complete the activities Make it optional for them and gently incorporate it into you life by normalising, naming and using language that supports mental health.

  • The curriculum is in video format with written instructions along with printable handouts, examples and photos as needed.
